BALANCAL gin is a London Dry Gin with fennel and spices aromas. Produced with grain neutral alcohol and the highest quality botanicals we added fennel seeds bought from a small local farmer. After macerating the main botanicals for 24 hours at 50% ABV we reduce the alcohol level and redistill it with all the botanicals inside the pot. No plates (rectification) were used during distillation to preserve much of the fennel’s sweet flavors. After distillation, pure mountain water was added, drop by drop, to reduce the alcohol content to 41.2% by volume, before bottling.
FLAVOURS
Clear juniper and fennel flavors. Coriander seeds, licorice, angelica and orris root complemented the main botanicals. A diverse palate of aromas, from an upfront sweetness, followed by spiciness, a long, fresh and dry finish is the result of this combination.
HOW TO DRINK
With strong fennels and spicy notes, use it to prepare your preferred gin based cocktails. With a Mediterranean tonic water and a thin slice of lime, is perfect for a refreshing Gin & Tonic.
